All Food That Pregnant Woman Should Consume

For you, all women who pregnant right now, it is very necessary to pay attention to your food that you consume. Remember that there is another life inside your body who need your extra care and notice. Your small fetus is growing step by step and getting bigger and bigger every day till the day it was born. Well, if you really want your fetus growth healthy and strong, you need effort to make it though, you need lots of healthy food.

Try to eat food that contains high calcium, protein, vitamin C, fiber, carbohydrate, vitamin A, folic acid and iron. Try to mix and combine these foods every day.

Source of High Calcium Food :
  • Low fat milk (skim milk), try to consume this low fat milk, it contains high calcium and can’t make you fat because the fat was lower than the ordinary milk.
  • Sardines and cheese
Those foods above were very useful in bones and teeth growth of the fetus. The amount of calcium needed for pregnant woman was twice more than usually. If you lack of calcium, fetus will take your calcium supply inside your own body. If you not notice this problem then you’ll had osteoporosis.

Source of High Protein Food :
  • Cheese, milk, yogurt, red meat (free fat), and fish.
Source of High Vitamin C Food :
  • Paprika, strawberry and orange. These food stimulate the growth of placenta and prevent infection.
Fiber and Carbohydrate :
  • Vegetables contain very high fiber, while wheat and beans such as soybean, kidney bean, green beans, lentil and pod also contains high fiber and calcium. Those foods will make you stay away from constipation.
Vitamin A :
  • Green, red and yellow vegetables such as broccoli, tomato and paprika. These foods contain vitamin A which very useful in fetus’s center nervous system growth.
Folic Acid :
  • Contained in broccoli and spinach
Iron :
  • Contained in tuna and spinach

  • Or low fat granola bar
  • Or a scoop of low fat ice cream, vanilla or strawberry

  • ½ cup low fat pudding vanilla
  • Or ½ banana + 1-2 sp peanut butter
  • Or a cup of cream milk with fruits as topping (grape, raisin, etc)
